The next audio post

So yeah, here's the second clip of audio from the SD card in the camera.

It sounds like me and that person from the first one. Liz? idk. The audio got fuckin' wacky and I don't know how to fix it but I gave it my best shot. This is what I could salvage, sorry.

  1. Well, this might help give more context to the previous audio clip. Again, there’s not a whole lot to go on (and no ‘secret messages’ this time). One thing I did find interesting, however, was the timing of that rather sudden audio glitch. In most cases such as this, the artefact will occur during the recording – in your case, it could also have been added afterwards without your consent although I don’t really see why.
The thing that catches my attention is that reference to something being wrong with a phone shortly after the glitch. You have stated clearly that the SD card was extracted from the camera. Assuming said card wasn’t originally from the phone and was simply re-used, then that implies at least two different devices were playing up at around the same time.
It could be an unrelated case of strong electromagnetic interference but, given how those Things aren’t exactly healthy towards electronics, it could also be evidence for something going on prior to the start of your situation.
If we continue down this branch of speculation, then given how the interference was synchronised to your reaction to an accusation, I wonder if maybe these things respond to intense emotion in some way. This latter speculation, like the rest of my suppositions, could indeed be unfounded. I guess we’ll have to see.

That’s the most I could gather right now. I did find out how to generate an Acoustic Spectrogram using audacity just in case (and realised pretty quickly that I don’t know how to read spectrograms), although other people probably already have more recourses if there is anything else.

My message to you is the same as before. Try not to get too settled – even discounting the message, something definitely isn’t right about all this. In fact, the message itself makes it clear that entities similar to those in the house can exist outside. One possible test would be to find out how far the limitations of the entities extend. Can they leave, or are they anchored to that spot?
Whatever happens, never forget that people do care about you.

Now, I don’t know if you’ve read this far into the comment (if you have, I can only commend you on your patience), although I was wondering about different ways of keeping up a mentality of survival given how long it’s been. One thing I had in mind was to possibly come up with a simple, positive phrase like ‘fight for your light’ (doesn’t have to be that one). The main intention with said phrase is to repeat it enough times through comments for it to cement itself into your subconscious, giving it another foothold in fighting back against their influence. Given the fact that we can’t physically go to help you, maybe this could have some impact.
I bring it up because… well, it’s your mind, body and soul we’re fighting for, thus I believe you deserve final say in the matter. Do you think this plan has promise, or would you rather it was quietly left where it began? Also, if we do try this out, what words do you or anyone else think would be most suitable for such a plan?
I don’t know how you managed to keep going all this time, but these things seem to be in it for the long haul – thus I believe we should plan accordingly. What is your say…?

  2. The source code person says this is one of the first occurrences.

  3. Thanks for that - Only just worked out how to see the additional messages. I guess that proves one part of the theory then...

  4. So, first audio clip Liz & Mary are loosely talking about something Mary's worried about. The brief context we get about this is: "...blow up in your face." Mary's worried or bothered about something and is trying to put it off.

A week later and Mary and Liz are discussing a boy, trail end of the conversation Liz states, "...like him." with an enunciation on "like" so she's suggesting that Mary likes a certain boy. Mary shrugs it off, "Yeah...didn't try to talk to him." And Mary states she doesn't want to talk about why. Liz's questions are perhaps the most telling:

"You don't think you're ready or not good-"

Mary interrupts from here and her sincerity to avoid the problem creates the distortions in the audio. As MLT suggests, the timing is something that can't be ignored.

I'm curious where all this "good" or "ready" talk comes from, what would cause Mary to not be ready or feel "good" (enough, I'm guess, good enough considering...)

Interesting too is how these audio clips are leading up to Mary's first days waking up in the house. I imagine everything Mary is digging towards in this information will lead us to an important turning point that gives us enough to build a vital timeline here.

  5. I'm going through and transcribing all the hidden messages found in the source code for each post, for viewing ease and mobile readers. This one says:
    One of the first occurrences.

  6. So, there's a portion at the end of the distortion where liz says "oh shit, what was that," to which mary replies "probably just a shadow or something," idk if it's relevant, but i haven't seen anyone mention it, and it seemed intersting considering the source code says "one of the first occurrences" and there is a shadow monster in the house, so maybe they were stalking her before she came to the house? As i said, idk if it's relevant, but i thought it was interesting

    1. Truth is, whenever I listened to that segment, I was under the impression that it was simply an argument that was too distorted to hear. Looking at this segment from the point of view of an eyewitness encounter actually makes those words a lot more legible.
Thanks, I honestly can't believe I hadn't noticed this already.
